Debbie here, the Stress Less Queen and I have made it my mission to support stressed, master plate spinners like you to find some balance, boost your health, move better, sleep better and feel good

After just over two decades in the Health and wellbeing industry, my own personal experience of stress and burnout and the 1000's of other busy souls I've supported, I see you and I can help you!

Over the years I have found that when it comes to boosting our health, we have a greater chance of sticking with healthy habits when we do it alongside other likeminded people, with support and accountability!

Relatable, effective, realistic and fun practices to better manage our responses to stress, to move with more ease, to sleep better and feel good. 

And for when your health and wellbeing needs that extra boost, I offer 1:1 personalised holistic therapies & personal coaching to dig deeper.

  • Ear Acupuncture for pain relief and detox support - I use the Battlefield Style Ear acupuncture for pain relief and the Nada Style Ear Acupuncture which is great when your making big changes to your lifestyle and struggling with cravings/falling off the wagon. 
  • Skin Firming & Collagen Boosting Acupressure, Cupping & Gua Sha Facials to reduce the impact our busy, stress filled lives can have on our skin health

How you can work with me

In Person - I'm based between York and Easingwold, with a range of Stress Busting & Feel Good weekly classes, workshops, Retreats and Holistic Therapies

Online - Live and On Demand Stress Busting & Feel Good classes, courses and workshops that you can tune in from the comfort of your own space, and the flexibility to fit in around your life. 

I get it your busy juggling work, family and a million other things BUT better managing your response to stress and making a difference to your wellbeing doesn't have to involve spending hours and hours dedicated to it.

Even 1 x session per week can make a huge impact! 

The problem with feeling chronically stressed like most of us are these days, is that it messes with your sleep, your energy, your mood, creates tension in your muscles and the mind becomes very good at talking us out of making changes, even if those changes will make us feel better!

I get it, the getting started bit is tough but I can promise you once you get started, once you start seeing changes to your sleep, your energy, your mood, you will wonder why you waited so long!

What You Can Expect

A guide to the practices I share to kick stress to the curb and boost your feel good!

  • Feel Good Yoga - Nourishing Seasonal Yoga, Movement & Relaxation that  prioritises boosting your energy, mood and mobility over your ability to  stand on your head or touch your toes. Your very welcome if you can do these things, but in these classes we focus more on embracing the things that feel good for YOUR body, boost your energy, moving your body mindfully without feeling like you need to be a gymnast or bend yourself like a pretzel to achieve this. We breathe, move our bodies through lots of feel good, strengthening and mobilising shapes and have a lovely lie down at the end :)
  • Kettlebell Conditioning - because sometimes throwing kettlebells around (in a controlled way of course) is the perfect way to de stress and you boost your fitness, strength and mobility at the same time.
  • Sleep Well Yin & Relaxation - My signature online class that combines Nervous system soothing yin yoga, acupressure, mindful movement & relaxation to de stress, unwind and invite a good nights sleep.
  • Aches Away - Combining Movement, Mobility, Yin Yoga and Acupressure to send those muscular aches and pains packing!
  • Mindfulness & Meditation Practices In a world full of distractions, finding stillness and presence is essential.  My mindfulness and meditation practices will help you find your calm amid the chaos, reduce stress, and enhance your ability to navigate the curve balls life throws our way!
  • Seasonal Self-Care As a Movement & Yoga teacher and Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist I believe in finding a way to better manage our daily stress and aligning with the natural rhythms of life. With seasonal physical and emotional self-care rituals to guide you in taking better care of yourself throughout the year, ensuring that you thrive during every season.
  • Acupuncture, Acupressure, cupping and Massage to boost your health, wellbeing and help you manage aches and pains in the body. My range of Holistic Therapies are great for assisting with reducing discomfort in a variety of stress & wellbeing related health issues - such as Anxiety, depression, insomnia, migraines, joint or muscular pain, digestive discomfort, sinus issues, skin health and many more. 
  • Cosmetic Acupuncture, Facial Gua Sha, Cupping & Massage - Our skin is the biggest organ in our body, and the first line of defence protecting us from the stresses and toxins we experience from the outside our world. Add to that what's going on inside and you can see why our skin changes so much depending on what we have going on in our lives. My in person treatments and online courses are all about reducing the impact our stress levels and environment place on the skin. Exploring holistic and natural ways to improve and support the health of our skin, boosting its natural collagen production and reducing the severity and appearance of lines, wrinkles, scarring and visible marks on the skin. This includes Skin firming facials, Facial Health mapping, skin health workshops, thread vein reduction/removal and very soon I will be offering cosmetic acupuncture (the holistic & natural alternative to Botox & fillers)

Debbie here, I'm from York and I work both online and in person with all things stress busting and feel good. 

I have spent a good portion of my career working in health clubs, plus 10 years running my own busy Fitness and Yoga Studio in York, life was busy, I didn't spend much time at home, ate at unsociable hours, constantly felt anxious and stressed all the time. My own yoga practice and self care went out the window too and I had to save any energy I had to teach at all hours of the day instead. 

Add to this a few other life curve balls and burnout hit!

So I left that behind and went back to being an independent coach/solopreneur. My body forced me to find better work/life balance and let go of the things that were not aligning with my health and wellbeing.

Allowing me more freedom and devote more time to coaching the things the that have helped me and many of my clients over the years the most. 

My husband Craig and super cute dog Frankie were pleased about this too, as they didn't like seeing what the anxiety and stress was doing to my health either!

So these days I can be found teaching my local community classes, in my home online studio/therapy room, delivering transformations workshops and retreats or chilling on the sofa with Craig and Frankie to a good movie or Netflix series :)

I know life is busy, and taking care of yourself sometimes takes a back seat.

But here’s the thing - if you continue to ignore your physical and emotional health, it has a way of getting louder and louder until you are forced to listen! I want to help you avoid this or recover from this, better manage stress, stay well and feel good!
